Your Job?

The job of an originator is a large one. It involves many hats. For instance, you must be reasonably good with

  • Math
  • People skills
  • Marketing
  • Organizational Skills
  • Sales Ability

And if you are not so good in any one of these areas, your income will suffer as a result. Even if you do excel in these areas, what about the processors who drop the ball and make you look bad even when you're doing things well.

So, why the heck are you doing it? There are far less stressful jobs out there.

Well, a loan originator is one of the few jobs that with a high school education and a little street savy you can earn a six figure income. If you stick to it, and never give up you've got a clean, respectable job with virtually unlimited future potential. That's why you're doing it.

Having said that, wouldn't it be nice to have some tools that make it all easier?
