marketing plan is simple. We want to make it as easy as possible for
you to keep in touch with large numbers of people at least 10 times
a year for as many years as you will be in the business of selling
yourself. We suggest you keep their home addresses on file instead
of a business address whenever possible. This results in far less
loss of customer data. Real Estate Agents, like many sales occupations,
move frequently. In addition, mail received at home is far more likely
to be read than mail received at the office which is quickly thrown
away. An easy method to get home addresses is by using your local
phone book and a zip code book which can be purchased at your local
post office.
In addition, we recommend using colored envelopes as well as hand
writing/stamping each envelope. This will increase the customers anticipation
of reading your mail as it will appear more of a personal nature as
opposed to junk mail.
Also, your picture should be on each mailing piece.

Perception
is Reality
If you are perceived to be knowledgeable, trust worthy,
caring & sincere, you will be approached in that light by your customers
whether or not you are truly that way. You are marketing an image. That
image is yourself and that image is no different than that of a world
wide corporation trying to get the image of their product marketed to
you. You want to be perceived as having all the qualities your customers
would search for.
The end result of that will be that whenever anyone in your Mass Marketing
Database thinks of the word MORTGAGE, your name will be the first thing
they think of next! But remember, buying this program will not make
all of these things happen. You must still take it upon yourself to
do the mailouts to your customers. That effort is required and that
effort is usually what is not put forth.

Familiarity
When you receive a blue hand written envelope with a real stamp on it,
you open it anxiously. When the letter you get has someones picture
on the top, you notice it. If you like the person well enough, you read
it. If you like what it said and the timing is right, you respond to
it. IF THE TIMING IS WRONG, YOU REMEMBER IT. Eventually, the timing
will be right and either that person will be looking for a mortgage
or that person will know someone who does. By then, they will think
of you as a friend and not a salesperson.
